The Aspire S13 S5-371 series of ultrabooks equipped with Skylake Core i3/5/7 CPUs, up to 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM, and SSDs up to 512 GB in size. Connectivity features include USB Type-C Gen. 1, 2x USB 3.0, MicroSDHC, and HDMI with Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11ac 2×2 WLAN and MU-MIMO wireless.

The weight and thickness of just 1.42kg and 14.5mm, the battery life up to 11 hours.

Remove ten Phillips screws that securing the bottom cover to the laptop.
Insert a plastic pick to pry up the bottom cover. There are some plastic clips securing the cover. Please do not damage the plastic clips.
When you remove the bottom cover, you can access the battery, M.2 SSD, wireless card, speaker, cooling fan and motherboard.
Acer Aspire S13 S5-371 features an 11.25V, 4030mAh, 45.3Wh Li-ion battery. The battery is not glued and connected with a plug and fixed with two screws.
M.2 SSD is fixed by two screws and can also be replaced easily.

The Qualcomm Atheros Wi-Fi module is connected to two antennas and can also be replaced easily.

Speaker modules

RAM chips are soldering on the motherboard, and it is not providing spare RAM slot, so the RAM cannot upgrade.
