July 19, Meizu held a press conference in Beijing, officially launched its new flagship – Meizu MX6.
Meizu MX6 uses a 5.5 inches 1080p display, equipped Helio X20 processor, built-in 4GB memory and 32GB of storage space, providing 500/1200 megapixel camera, 3060mAh battery, support 12V/2A fast charge and fingerprint recognition.
The phone is priced at 1999 yuan, 200 yuan more expensive than the MX5, but Meizu believes that MX6 still with great value because their configuration and workmanship are much stronger than the MX5.
Remove the SIM card tray.
It supports dual SIM card, but it still not supports extra TF card.
Remove two screws that securing the display assembly to the phone body.
There are some snaps securing the display assembly, and you need release all the snaps to remove the display assembly.
Lift up the display assembly a little bit. Be careful. The display assembly is still connecting to the motherboard by two cables.
Disconnect the mBack button cable and LCD cable from the motherboard. You can remove the display assembly.
Meizu MX6 screen using TDDI technology, which makes the touch IC, ID display control circuits into one module, thus reducing the complexity of the part of the screen, but also facilitate the assembly production.

Under the display, you will be able to access the battery, bottom board, camera and motherboard.
Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
The battery is fixed on the body by the double-sided adhesive. There is a little hard to remove it.
Meizu MX6 comes with a 3.8V, 3060mAh Li-polymer battery.
Remove the screws securing the speaker and disconnect the cable from the motherboard.
USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headset jack
Remove two plastic pieces.
Remove all screws securing the motherboard.
Remove the motherboard from the phone body.
Under the motherboard, you can find a layer of graphite sticker.
Meizu MX6 uses a Sony’s new IMX386 camera sensor, 12 million pixels, F/2.0 large aperture, support phase detection auto focus. It is can significantly improve the night shooting.
