On February 19th, Lenovo released its first 14-inch laptop with the MX 230. Today, Acer has released a new Swift 3 laptop. The biggest highlight is equipped with the newly NVIDIA MX250 discrete graphics. The Swift3 is not significantly different from the old version in design. It uses a 14-inch IPS display with a border of only 6.3mm.
The Swift 3 sports a 14.0-inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display, an Intel Whiskey Lake processor, a 4-cells 3220 mAh battery, and a 45W AC adapter. But it measures just 323 x 228 x 18.7 mm and weighs 1.6 kg. It is available in four colors, including Flame Red, Cherry Pink, Royal Blue, and Silver.
The Swift3 is powered by Intel’s 8th generation Core i5-8265U and i7-8765U processors, and the graphics card is upgraded from MX150 to MX 250, up to 24GB of DDR4-2400 dual-channel memory (4GB on board), and up to 1TB of M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state storage. The battery life is more than 12 hours.
It features a backlit keyboard and has stereo speakers, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and headset jack.
