Acer Announces New Swift 3 with NVIDIA GeForce MX250

On February 19th, Lenovo released its first 14-inch laptop with the MX 230. Today, Acer has released a new Swift 3 laptop. The biggest highlight is equipped with the newly NVIDIA MX250 discrete graphics. The Swift3 is not significantly different from the old version in design. The Swift 3 sports a 14.0-inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display, an Intel Whiskey Lake processor, a 4-cells 3220 mAh battery, and a 45W AC adapter. But it measures just 323 x 228 x 18.7 mm and weighs 1.6 kg. It is available in four colors, including Flame Red, Cherry Pink, Royal Blue, and Silver.

The Swift3 is powered by Intel’s 8th generation Core i5-8265U and i7-8765U processors, and the graphics card is upgraded from MX150 to MX 250, up to 24GB of DDR4-2400 dual-channel memory (4GB on board), and up to 1TB of M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state storage. It features a backlit keyboard and has stereo speakers, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and headset jack.

  1. The brand Acer sucks as much as their customer support! no ever buying an Acer product and i encourage you to look for alternatives to this shit brand!
