Acer launched Chromebook 11 C771 with 11.6-inch touchscreen


Recently, Acer has released the Chromebook 11 C771 which runs on Chrome OS for students and enterprise users.

The C771 features the 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1,366 pixels by 768 pixels (with touchscreen display option). It will be powered by the sixth-generation Intel Celeron, Core i3 or Core i5. The official party claimed that it could provide 13-hour battery life. The Chromebook supports a 180-degree hinge that enables the user to flatten the lid while using the laptop.

The notebook measures 0.82 inches thick and weighs 2.98 pounds. It has a spill-resistant keyboard and a MIL-STD 810G test case that can withstand a fall from about four feet. Besides, the Chromebook features a built-in microSD card slot, two USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI port.

The C771 (without touchscreen) is priced at $280, while the C771T (touchscreen variant) is priced at $330. The Acer Chromebook 11 will be on sale soon.
