Meizu M5 Note comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, it packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The phone runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery. It measures 153.60 x 75.80 x 8.15 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 175.00 grams.

Before the beginning of dismantling the first step is removing the SIM slot to prevent damage to the fuselage in the disassembly process.

Remove two screws beside the Micro USB port.

Insert a guitar pick between the back cover and fuselage, and then slide the pick along the edge of the fuselage to remove the back cover.

After removing the back cover you can see the motherboard, battery and other internal parts, the motherboard was covered with a metal shield.

Remove all screws securing the cover plate. There is a screw covered by fragile stickers. If you damaged it, you will avoid the warranty.

Remove all screws securing the motherboard and disconnect all cables connected to the motherboard.
Pry up and remove the motherboard.

The battery is secured to the chassis using an easy-to-pull glue and double-sided adhesive.

It comes with a 15.4W, 4000mAh Li-polymer battery.

There is a rubber mat on the home button module. It prevents dust and water from entering the inside of the phone.
