Oppo R9s running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 128 GB.

The phone has a 5.5 inches Full HD, 1080 x 1920 pixels IPS display with a pixel density of 401 PPI. It has Gorilla Glass protection as well. Coming to cameras, it has a 16 MP front camera for selfies. It has a micro USB port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Oppo R9s as well, along with an accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS too.

It runs on Android v6.0.1 (Lollipop), and it powered by a 3010 mAh battery. It measures 153 x 74.3 x 6.58mm with a total weight of 145 grams including battery.

The first step is powered off the phone. And then remove the SIM card tray.

Remove two screws close to the micro USB port.

Pry up the display a little bit and insert a pick. Slide the pick along the edge until you can remove the back cover.

First, we look at the back cover. There is a large area of graphite thermal paste on the back cover, the previous generation is not, the antenna contact surface plated with gold, to prevent corrosion, the previous generation is not used.

Remove two screws securing the metal sheet.

Disconnect the battery connector and other cables from the motherboard.

Remove all screws securing the motherboard.

Take out the motherboard.

Next, we look at the motherboard. At first glance, there is nothing exposed electronic components, but the careful observation is not, they are hidden under the black dispensing, and this moment gave us a big surprise, this means that these electronic components are fully protected, even the water droplets on the motherboard will not affect the normal work.

Remove the light sensor.

Remove the earpiece.

Uncover the black tape. Lift up the green tape. You can remove the battery.

Oppo R9s comes with a 3.85V, 3010mAh Li-polymer battery.

Remove all screws securing the bottom board and speaker module.

Disconnect four cables from the bottom board.

We found that the bare electronic components on the bottom board also use the dispensing process.

The speakers come from the AAC. Aac also provides speakers for the iPhone.
