How to replace or remove keyboard on HP Pavilion 17-f002na
1. Turn off the laptop. Unplug the AC adapter from the laptop. 2. Unlock and remove the battery. 3. Remove the screw securing the optical drive, pull out it from the laptop. 4. Turn the HP Pavilion 17-f002na face down, and remove the rubber feet and two screws under the rubber feet. Remove two end caps and two screws under the end caps. 5. Remove the ten screws securing the bottom case. Remove three screws in the battery bay and three screws in the optical drive bay. 6. Turn the HP Pavilion 17-f002na right side up and carefully remove the top cover. You can use a guitar pick to pry up the top cover assembly. 7. Lift up the top cover assembly and disconnect the power button cable, keyboard cable and touchpad cable from the motherboard. 8. When the top cover was removed, you can replace the keyboard with a new keyboard.
