1. This mobile workstation uses an external keyboard (with frame) so you can easily replace the keyboard without having to go to a repair shop.
2. I suggest you go to the HP website to download the hardware maintenance manual, and then follow the removal and replacement procedures steps in the manual to replace the keyboard.

4. Before replacing the keyboard for ZBook 14u G6, you need to remove the back cover of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable ( or remove the battery) according to standard procedures.
5: You have to remove the two Phillips screws that secure the keyboard to the laptop and Insert a screwdriver or similar thin tool into the keyboard release hole, and then press on the back ofthe keyboard until it releases from the palmrest.
6. Disconnect the keyboard cable, pointing stick cable, and backlight cable from the system board ZIF connector.
